USB-IF Promotes Logos in TV Ads Campaign

  February 22nd, 2005

USB-IF Promotes Logos in TV Ads CampaignThe USB Implementers Forum, one of the primary groups responsible for advancing and promoting the USB industry standard, has launched a TV advertising campaign promoting the use of logos. "If you buy peripherals without checking for the Certified USB logo, they might as well be pushing up daisies". Manufacturers looking to place the logo on their product packaging to show that the device has passed quality testing can do so at the USB-IF's website.

The 30-second TV spot is playable via QuickTime 6.0 or later, or cross-platform VLC. A high resolution MPEG-2 version is also available on the USB-IF’s website.
