USB Hub, Letter Opener, Clock in One: Genius or Insanity?

I actually know a few people that would find this USB hub/clock/automatic letter opener very useful. Any person slaving away at a real job where they have to open gobs of mail each day, like insurance billers or anyone who posts payments to accounts would find not having to open each letter by hand to be a great thing. I know one woman who spends literally two hours each day just opening letters. This little gem throws in a fully automated opener, a four-port USB hub and an alarm clock in one device. The device runs on 3 AA batteries and while it may be totally useless to most of us, some folks may find this thing very appealing. No word on pricing or availability at this time, I am betting it will be cheap though.
