Some plans will get the buyer the 8GB iPhone 3G for free To make things even more attractive, the 8GB iPhone 3G is free and has a downright affordable unlimited data plan. To get the free iPhone 3G buyers have to agree to a 2-year contract and pay 498 HKD per month, amounting to about $64 USD. That price gets 2200 minutes and unlimited data. If Hong Kong shoppers want the 16GB model they only need cough up an additional 138 HKD or about 18 USD. Cheaper monthly plans are available, but the device costs more with those plans.
