Apple Throws Angry iPhone Early Adopters a $100 Bone

DON'T MISS

The perils of being an early adopter is that you over pay for a product. That’s exactly what happened to the Apple fans that stood in line to get their hands on the iPhone on launch day. They paid $599 for the 8GB iPhone and this week Apple slashed the price on the same phone by $200.

This cased quite an outrage from the early buyers of the iPhone raised enough of a ruckus that Apple has come back and offered every buyer of an iPhone from Apple direct or through AT&T an Apple in store coupon for $100 good on any purchase. I am surprised that Apple did this; price cuts and better tech in a few months are part of the early adopter perils.
