Well, school is out and while summer isn't officially upon us, summer-like heat is for sure. We computer geeks worry about our computers getting to hot leading to lockups and potential damage to components. If you live in a warm climate you might also worry about overheating yourself and be wishing for a way to keep cool while you work at your computer.
Arctic Cooling's
Arctic Breeze is a cooling option for the computer user that is powered by the PC USB port. The fan itself is a 92mm design with a low noise impeller to keep things quiet and cool. The fan also offers two speed settings of 1200 rpm and 2000 rpm.
In addition to the dual speed settings the Arctic Cooling fan also has an on/off switch so you don't have to unplug the fan to turn it off. The USB cable is 1.5 meters long so it should be long enough to plug into a computer tower beside your desk and still reach the desktop. The device is set for availability in June for $15.95. A fan will go a long way to keeping you cool in the heat and a nice cold drink will help too. Couple the fan with the
USB refrigerator and summer can be much more bearable.
