From the beginning, it seems obvious that Displaylink USB video technology would well on photo frames as it did on nineteen-incher LCD monitors. Asus now turns this idea into reality with its new UFOTO UF735 7" USB photo frame. On the surface, the UF735 looks as like any others, and it soon reveals the hidden talent in its ability to work as a USB monitor, which can either create another desktop or mirror the main screen. The mini LCD has an unconventional 800 x 480 resolution which is plentiful for a 7" display. So, if you are fine with Eee PC's screen, the UF735 will serve you just fine, but the intended purpose is to supplement as a secondary monitor - providing more estate for messenger windows, calender, world clock, Vista's SideShow, picture viewer, and so on. As for the photo frame itself, the UF735 comes built-in with auto-rotation sensor; auto-backlight; rechargeable battery; stereo speakers for MP3 playback; and a wide variety of memory card slots for importing photos to the 128MB embedded memory.
