ATI's Hybrid TV Wonder 600 USB Tuner

WE RECOMMEND

AMD announced a new USB TV tuner for PC today called the ATI TV Wonder 600 USB. The USB tuner includes a slim credit card sized IR remote control, A/V input adapter for capturing video from a camcorder or VCR and user-friendly Catalyst Media Center Software. Also included is an advanced programming guide, DVD authoring and playback, video conversion and AMD LIVE! On Demand that allows you to access and schedule recordings from any PC with web access.

The tuner is set for availability in September 2007, no pricing information is announced at this time. The tuner offers locally available over the air programming recording and playback. The USB tuner also includes the antenna needed to pick up over-the-air signals for recording and playback. This new AMD tuner sounds very much like the Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick we have reviewed before.
