Auvi Dual Mode Cordless USB Phone

If you have never heard of Auvi, join the club. However, it sounds like their newest phone, the Auvi PHIP65, may be a useful device. The phone is a dual mode cordless handset that works with both your traditional land line and VOIP with Skype. You can program different ring tones into the phone to distinguish if the call is from Skype or normal phone service as well. DECT technology is used to enhance the sound quality of the phone while reducing interference with 802.11a/b/g networks, Bluetooth devices and microwaves. Other features include a built-in speaker phone, caller ID, three-way calling and call transfer between headsets. The PHIP65 Dual Mode Cordless Phone is available now at an MSRP of $129.99 and additional handsets will be available in December for $79.99. Sounds very similar to the US Robotics USR9630.
