When most of us think of Bang & Olufsen we think about expensive products and the latest MP3 player from Bang & Olufsen, the BeoSound 6, carries on that tradition with a price of $600. For your $600, you get an MP3 player that doesn’t specify how much storage it has. The only clue we get is that it can store up to 1000 songs.

The battery life is a claimed 40 hours of continuous use, double the time of standard battery packs. The LCD screen is 128 x 160 pixels and the player lacks video capability. The player is compatible with both Windows and Mac and promises superior CD quality sound compared to other MP3 players on the market. I’m not sure about this one; you could get several iPod touch players for the same money.
