BeInSync P2P Sync Joins U3

  June 7th, 2005

Things are looking good for U3 - a new hardware & software specs for USB flash drive apps backed by M-Systems and SanDisk. We've heard plenty of software apps being ported to U3 platform. BelnSync Pro 1.5, a peer-to-peer sync program, will soon be U3-compliant, meaning you will be able to use the app on any Windows 2000/XP without first installing it. That alone is a great convenience for notebook-less road warriors.

BelnSync is essentially a P2P synchronization program that solves the problems when working with multiple PCs. Outlook records, IE bookmarks and content in My Document are automatically sync'ed between PCs. Data is exchanged through Internet and encrypted via 256-bit AES encryption. BelnSync should show up on U3 web portal for purchase around mid-year.
