Boynq Swing USB Hub - Inspired by Newton's Cradle

  August 4th, 2008

WE RECOMMEND

This Boynq Swing is true to its name, with 4 USB female-B cables all dangling from its arch-shaped body. Its designer is in fact inspired by Newton's cradle, and the Swing looks more like a piece of art rather than USB hubs that go for a buck a dozen. The Swing with its flexible connectors also has no problems accommodating fatty dongles that may block adjacent ports.

The hub measures at 13.9 x 11.4cm, and seems to be only available for $16.99 from Buy.com. There are other attempts by designers to give their hubs a distinctive look and to add practical value for users. LaCie USB 2.0 Hub is a good example, but unfortunately only a very few people like it.
