Recovering a Sunken Voyager Flash Drive

One of our friends had the unthinkable happen to his "rugged" Flash Voyager thumb drive - the USB connector snapped right off just from being in the same pocket as his keys. We thought it was a freak accident, but apparently Gabriel over at Hardware Secrets had the same problem.

Rather than just lose all his precious data, he dissected the drive and posted a walkthrough to solder a makeshift connector from a USB extension cable to get the files off it before casting the drive on its voyage to the landfill.
