Like so many companies before it, CoSoSys has released a U3 version of their multi-purpose briefcase application, Carry it Easy. While not particularly impressive on paper, a quick glance at the applications screenshots reveals what looks to be a truely user-friendly interface for synchronizing files between computers, launching traceless internet browsing sessions, and carrying your Outlook Express with you.
Touted features of the U3 edition of Carry it Easy include synchronization of emails for computers with Outlook Express installed, Favorites and My Documents synchronization, 1-click ZIP compression, and traceless browsing using either Microsoft Internet Explorer or (w00t!) Mozilla Firefox. Other trendy features are a Device Information window for detailed stats on the U3 smart drive Carry it Easy is installed on, a Lost & Found with contact information in case the drive gets misplaced, support for 7 languages, and a graphical representation of how much space is free on the drive.
CoSoSys is launching the U3 Carry it Easy at an introductory price of $20 'till the end of the year, although they encourage shoppers to try the product first with the free trial offered on their website. Owners of the product for existing flash drives can upgrade for free.Filed under USB Apps for Flash Drives
