Following the success of their Zen Vision, Creative just increased their lead over the competition today with the introduction of the MuVo Vidz, Creative's first flash-based portable media player. Available in 512MB and 1GB capacities, the 33-gram player is equipped with an 1.18", 65K color Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display to conserve power, allowing for a whopping 10-hour battery life.
Under the hood the MuVo Vidz supports WMA, MP3, and JPG media, along with MPEG4 video transferred over the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection. Users can also capture music on-the-go with the player's integrated FM tuner, microphone and line-in port. The M3U support makes playlist integration with Winamp and Windows Media Player a snap. Both models will be available next month for $259 and $349 each.
With such configuration and price, the MuVo Vidz will go head-on with Samsung YP-T8.
