Japan seems to be a karaoke-obsessed nation. Digital cowboy has a new DAP, called the CA-K7, which has 1GB of flash storage space, an integrated mic, and a proprietary jack on the bottom for connecting to an external stereo or home theater. If you need a little producing to get your voice sounding decent, there are controls on the CA-K7 for controlling the pitch, key, and echo. The LCD is a 1.8” color screen and is capable of displaying JPEG and text files. Compatible audio types are MP3, WMA, OGG, and a FM tuner is built0in as well. The lyrics to the tunes stored on the DAP are compiled with MediaSync software. The battery charges via USB and has 12hrs MP3 playback and 2hrs of karaoke time. The player is set to launch in Japan and surrounding countries on May 31 for about $122. About Everything USB
