We just don't get the affection some geeks have for being able to cook using their USB ports. Take the USB powered pop corn popper; we just don't get the point. If you want some pop corn, there are much faster ways to get it. The project could be more for geek bragging rights. Yet again, a geek has come up with a way to cook using the USB port. Instructables has a video that outlines the method the guy used to build a USB cooking pan to fry eggs. To make the pan you will need what appears to be a pair of pie pans, chunks of a broken ceramic plate, a low voltage tungsten filament, and a pair of USB cables. I'm pretty sure you will need no life and no hopes of getting laid in this lifetime to be able to complete this project in addition to the components. Video after the jump. About Everything USB
