Ecosol Powerstick...So That's What it is

The geeky gaggle at Gizmodo have got to the bottom of the Ecosol Powerstick mystery. It seems that the device isn’t solar charger like you might think, but rather it is an old-fashioned battery that charges via the USB port on your computer. Once fully charged the Powerstick can power many high drain portable gizmos like phones and MP3 players via a variety of connecting tips. The battery takes 90 minutes to charge up but no figures are given on how long it can power mobile devices, though the readout does give you an indicator for how much power is left in the device. There is also no mention of pricing or availability.
