Eizo C@T One is a Mouse & a Remote

  September 15th, 2008

WE RECOMMEND

Multiple remotes and a mouse/keyboard are common sites beside the couch of home theater fans using a HTPC. There are several options available for replacing the normal mouse you use at your desk, with something more suited for use from across the room. One such option is the Logitech MX Air. A new option is the Eizo C@T.

The mouse is two faced, like that one friend you had in high school. One side works like a normal universal remote control and the other side works at a mouse to control your PC. The remote control side has nine buttons including power, channel up/down, volume and input switching. Definitely not enough buttons for something like your DVR. The mouse side uses 2.4GHz connectivity to control the PC from 10m away. It has a scroll wheel and left/right buttons. I'm sure this thing isn't affiliated with the real Eizo, the guys who make the high-end LCDs, but the name is the same and the logo is very similar as well.
