Elecom has a PASS or Password Authentication Security System that uses a different sort of method to keep your data safe. The name sounds like the drive uses a password to secure your data, which is does not. The security method the drive uses allows you to specify which computers can see the data on the drive.If you lose the PASS drive and someone plugs it into a non-authorized computer the data is unreadable. Currently no price is listed for the drives and availability is unknown. Storage capacity is up to 16GB. Supported operating systems include Windows and Mac.
