Elgato EyeTV Brings Digital TV to the Mac

The Elgato EyeTV for DTT (Digital Terrestrial TV) is a USB 2.0 TV tuner with a fundamental difference - it can receive over-the-air digital TV signals directly via it's own antenna. Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) represents the future of television broadcasting, providing interference-free reception and remarkable digital picture and sound quality.

EyeTV supports DTT multilingual programming and Dolby Digital sound. The EyeTV DTT allows you to watch, record, pause, rewind and encrypt live television and DTT. It helps you program and schedule (timeshift) with integrated online TV guide (EPG). A free 1-year subscription is included. The EyeTV software is quite flexible and can help you edit video for content, export to Sony PSP and other destinations and burn content to DVD or CD (Toast 6 Titanium is required for burning).

A dedicated remote control is included. An Internet connection is required to use the TV guide function. The Elgato EyeTV for DTT will be available very soon for about £99/$149/€149. It is Mac-only.
