Epson has an interesting new photo printer that was recently added to the PictureMate lineup called the PictureMate Flash. The cool part about this new printer is that it includes a built-in CD Burner. An optional battery pack and Bluetooth adapter means you can go wireless for printing and get away from the outlet. Personally, Iām not sure if I would rather have the built-in CD burner of the Flash or the built-in HDD of the HP PhotoSmart A716. Photos can be printed on the Flash at up to 5760 x 720dpi. 4x6 prints can be completed in a claimed 45 seconds and a built-in card reader accepts most popular card types. The CD burner has the following speeds; CD/CD-R: 8x/4x, CD-RW: 8x/4x, DVD: 8x. The printer measures in at 8.5ā x 6.0ā x 6.9ā and weighs 6.6 pounds. The Flash is available now at an MSRP of $299.
