A Case of the USB Speakers before the Egg

  July 21st, 2006

The egg shape, for some reason, is a popular design for USB gadgets. I personally don't grasp the reason you would want a giant egg sitting on your desk. Much less why you would want a giant egg with music coming out of it on your desk. If you fell the hankering for eggs, this is for you.

The maker of the egg is called Evergreen. Inside the egg are two speakers and you can separate them by cracking the egg in half. One of the egg halves also has a built in media card reader that can read CF, SD and memory stick media. The speakers are USB powered and require no external power. Under the card reader slots us a two port USB hub. The entire egg measures in at 130 x 190mm.
