FlashDisc: USB Flash Drive Re-invented

  March 20th, 2006

FlashDisc: USB Flash Drive Re-inventedIf you are not excited by the prospect of a flash based USB drive sporting 32 MB of data storage, then you are like me and actually expect a flash drive to hold some data. 32 MB?! That's like spending $3 to buy the winning lotto ticket and then finding out the jackpot was only $5.

So capacity is not the forte of the FlashDisc, luckily the price is low at an MSRP of $9.99 for a three pack. If all your looking for is the ability to carry small documents, the drive may serve you well. The drive has a large hole, but no string or cord to aid in carrying it, obviously at $9.99 it's BYOS (bring your own string). Perhaps, I am a bit jaded at the thought of storage devices of the same size having multiple gigabytes of storage capacity. Capacities for the FlashDisc range from 16 MB to 32 MB.
