USB Digital Still Cam Drivers

Hi,

I recently acquired a USB Digital Still Cam with no software and Windows XP cannot find a driver for it. I cannot tell who made the cam other than the word DIGITAL on the middle of it. It is blue, tall and slender and part of it separates to take pictures away from the cradle it sits in. It has a belt clip and uses 2 AA batteries. The back has an lcd screen telling how many pictures are left in the memory. Any help with locating the manufacturers webpage or the drivers themselves would be greatly appreciated.

webcam XP can not find software for.....

Sounds to me like it could be a Walmart brand called Gear to Go....we have been having a problem with that ourselves...try going to geartogo.com....not sure if it will work...i have to try it myself yet....

Angry I have the same problem

I have recently obtained the exact same camera. Mine was purchased at Wal-Mart, but I got the camera second hand. It has no driver or camera software either. If you receive an answer to your request, I would appreciate a heads up as I need the same things. If I am able to get what I need I will let you know. I was able to find out that that software for the camera is made by Arcsoft.

DSC 2770 driver?

I have a camera that uses this driver. The driver actually has two parts, the "Back End" That Windows Sees and interfaces with video capture programs for the Webcam Mode and the front end which is the program that takes the pictures from the still function and saves them, the "Back End" should be included with windows, but the front end is usually seperate.

DO NOT USE WINDOWS UPDATE TO UPDATE THE DRIVER!
The Webcam mode will operate correctly, but you will get a camera connection error when you try to download pictures.

Tiny Gray Cam

I have a tiny gray camera. It's something like an 100K px mini digi camera.
It's with an keychain, a little display (no colors), with "mode" above it.
And no flash. Just a little gray camera.
I can't find the software anywhere. It has no brand or something and it works with 1 aaa battery.

Please, help?

-edit-
it seems My Dsc and Pc Cam are also on this cd-rom.

I dowload these drivers for a digital camera that Windows XP said was a

USB Digital Still Camera

The camera was grey, and had a blue big circle around two smaller circles. It included the circle for the lense. Near the lense are the Words Digital Camera. At the top left the name of the comapny or the symbol is an "i" with something that looks like a boomerang C arond the "i". On the bottom of the Camera it says FCCE
Made in China.

I dowloaded the driver and then installed it.
Restarted the PC and the camera seemed to be recognized once I pluged it in.
I then used Irfanview to a batch Acquire of all images to the desktop.

AppName=MyDSC

Now my Device Manager says its a

Dual-Mode DSC(2770)

Hi, My camera was bought from wal-mart too. None of the links work for me plus I don't know if it is the same cam. Mine is a long gray cam, it says digital at the bottom, the usb connection is on the right side of the cam, it takes two AAA batteries, in the back it has a tiny screen that tells you how many pictures you have taken, and I need the drivers. Any help would be apreciated. Thx in advance.

Hiya

Ok..i bought this camera at Walmart too a few months ago. I had to format my computer and when I went to put my camera back on it. the Cd was gone. Its black and silver. You can find a picture of it at the link below. I Really need this camera to work.
All my computer can tell me is that it may be a "Dual-Mode Digital Camera"

Angry Is there any links that work here?

I have tried all the links in this area and some say I don't have permission to go to this page and others simply do not exist anymore and still some point to a bad zip file.
CAN YOU PEOPLE GET THIS RIGHT? If your going to offer your driver make sure that others can get to the place you put it or if you give out a link to a web source for the driver, make sure it is still there.
I have never seen such unprofessional crap in my life, I thought you people knew how to use your computers!
HOW DO YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU PEOPLE SAY!

Wink camera driver

The camera you have I think can be found at wallmart for $20.
The one you discribed looks like the ones they have on display
here in ohio. compare yours and see.Maybe you could buy another one and have it as a spare or leave one on the pc and
use the other for your pics. Anyway you will have the driver for
both if you purchase the one from W Marts.
they come in blue, purple, and grey if I remember right. I think that will solve your problem.

Cool camera driver

Steevo,You have to go to Device Manager and see what is installed there for immage device. If your old camera is installed,
remove it.It will have a yellow exclaimation mark by it.If your
new one is there, Reboot and it should work.if not, reinstall it.
and be sure to reboot after you install the new camera. Then
plug it in and open the program.but make sure to get rid of the old immage device. good luck with it.
