Filed under USB Apps for Flash Drives
If you are one of the masses that carries a flash drive around that is packed full of documents, music, photos and more you have no doubt struggled to find exactly what you are looking for on the drive. You can install PocketSearch 2.1 to Windows, Linux and Macs directly from your flash drive and then use the application to search the flash drive itself. You can also use the application to search for information on windows mobile smart phones as well. When the application is ran the file index starts to build automatically and you can begin looking at the found files before the search is completed. If you know part of the file name you can start typing and likely matches are shown in a pane in the application.
