Personal Video Recorders are nothing new, but PVRs that record straight to USB Mass Storage devices are, and there's no denying our love for watching TV on our laptops after a long day of road tripping. Gefen's new PVRs are perfect for such situations, able to record from satellite television or camcorders, and export the video in MPEG-4 format to a wide variety of destinations including SD Cards and flash drives for viewing on any PC. Still undergoing final changes, two PVRs are slated for release in late February, a low definition version (top-left) and a high definition version(right) capable of handling 1080p complete with HDMI outputs. While the HD version shown in the picture does not have a USB port, Gefen has told us that it is highly likely that it will be implemented before shipping. About Everything USB
