Genius Traveler 515 Laser Sheds Scroll Wheel

  May 14th, 2007

Genius Traveler 515 Laser Sheds Scroll Wheel

Hot on the heels of the recently released (in the US anyhow) Saitek Obsidian mouse with the touch scroll wheel is a new mouse by Genius called the Traveler 515 Laser. The mouse uses a touch scroll area, rather than a traditional scroll wheel. Those running Vista will appreciate the Vista hot keys built into the mouse that give you one-touch access to the Flip 3D function and Smart IE search. Genius also integrated their hyper-speed scroll allowing you to scroll swiftly through long pages. Sensitivity is pretty good and is adjustable between 800 and 1600 dpi. A traditional design makes the Traveler 515 more appealing for some than the Obsidian and makes the Traveler 515 suitable for right or left handed users. The Traveler 515 is compatible with Vista, Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.2.8 and up.
