Although the reliance on a non-rechargeable alkaline battery to power the keyboard is a little troubling, and the keyboard's floating keys can be difficult to use, overall the keyboard and mouse that make up the Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 are pleasant to look at, easy to program, and best of all, easy to use. For these reasons, and despite its minor flaws, I'm happy to give it my full recommendation.

At the end of the day the poor layout of the user manual and application disk is easily overlooked by the high storage capacity and small, easy to carry dimensions of the LaCie Carte Orange. You will be hard pressed to find more storage capacity in a drive that is small enough to be carried inside your wallet.
