| The new Memorex TravelLink (yes a USB OTG device) comes equipped with a versatile 8-in-1 card reader in addition to two USB ports (source and target). So, you pick the files you want for transfers on the 3-line monochrome LCD, and then begin the download, at (sigh) USB 1.1 speed. What makes this somewhat special is the built-in flash reader. | The USB Anywhere can transfer to and from cameras, MP3 players, USB hard drives and card readers. While it can copy from CD/DVD burners, it can't write to them. It's perfect for offloading photos from a camera with a full memory cache. It has an optional AC adapter included, but can work without it thanks to batteries. Unfortunately, it's strictly a USB 1.1 Full Speed device. | Macally's 2nd generation SyncBox is a USB OTG bridge that copies and transfers data between two USB devices without a PC. The new SyncBox II now has added a few more buttons; a LCD menu; and the capability to selectively transfer files. This is a handy gadget if you need to transfer individual files from a flash drive to another; and from a digital camera to a USB hard drive. |
