"Frustrated" Downloaded program Capture Wizard-was copying 1 of my videos-after 35 min computer froze-reboot-same results-even changed name of my external drive temporarily-ubinstalled and reinstalled 2 more times-same result-returned to store for rebate after 4 days of frustration-my computer=768MB RAM 2GHz processor-18GB free space.Also have a 80GB internal drive but program will not accept it. "It works very well" I've been using this device for about 3 months with an XP 2000, 1.5G RAM, and Sony 500A DVD. Overall, my VHS tape transfers have produced viewable DVDs, but what you get depends on the sharpness of the original tape. Some are better than others.
I forgot to mention: The device comes with lite versions of Ulead MovieFactory and Studio 7. MovieFactory renders and burns my movies to disc without problem quickly, but just make sure your C; drive is at least 25-30G. It needs room to work and it defaults to C: drive, even though I have an empty 80G HD for capture. I haven't found a way to change that default. From GreenKnight, October 20, 2003
