"It works!" My integrated LAN connection went down. It somehow stopped being able to renew IP address. I still don't know why. It is a Realtek adapter with new drivers and Windows XP. I fiddled with it until I was blue.
Plugged the D-Link DUB-E100 into the USB and attached the Cat5 cable and BRAVO. Instantly connected.
