"Don't buy this mouse" 1. High pitched noises eminate from the mouse. Very distracting as they coincide with movement and clicking. I don't need sound effects to my mousing.
2. Too expensive for what it is.
3. The scroll 'pad' is junk. It just jumps around the page, doesn't have any precision whatsoever.
4. When the batteries are low, clicking is spotty, it holds some clicks and doesn't even register others. This is odd, because it continues to track fine.
5. It's HEAVY.
6. If you have any degree of carpal tunnel syndome, this mouse will make it MUCH WORSE. Kensington has always had poor ergonomic ratings, and this mouse hits an all time low.
7. The charging base has a green light that flickers when you move the mouse or click or scroll. This is just plain annoying, I don't need any visual feedback when i'm using the mouse, seeing it move on my screen lets me know it's working.
8. The laser is mounted in the front of the mouse.. if you're used to a mouse such as the Apple mouse where the laser is in the center, this will drive you crazy. As I am.
9. Very cheap construction. The cheapest plastics China can produce.
10. Letters to Kensington customer service have gone unanswered. This is the worst of all, they can't even acknowlege my complaints. From Mike, September 02, 2004
