User Review(s)
"Linksys should be prosecuted for releasing this product"
Put simply, this product just does not work. Wired, or wireless.
I read all of the terrible reviews and thought I was smart enough to figure it out - the promise was so appealing. It isn't a question of being knowledgeable enough to get it connected. It simply doesn't work.
"Tech" Support was useless - their only suggestion? Return it to the store where you bought before the exchange period runs out!

"TRASH!! COMPLETE DO-OVER FOR LINKSYS!!"
first, i have to say that i have several other pieces of linksys hardware that i love -- because they work well.

this, on the other hand, is not something that linksys should have ever released. AVOID, especially if you own windows xp, lexmark, hpdj, OR hplj. don't be fooled by the sleek package & future wireless-upgrade ability!

granted, i wasn't able to test wireless connectivity w/ this... piece of work - nay, i struggled w/ a wired setup for three days... i have a considerable amount of experience w/ computers & hardware/network configuration, but this was very frustrating! i was finally able (after days) to add printserver & standard tcp/ip ports for printdriver. neither worked, was UNable to print w/out both printserver & printer ceasing. 'stupid device has no power switch or reset...

the provided "bi-admin" utility looks very "pre-wfw" & works horribly -- IF @ ALL! problems assigning dynamic/static ip, changing device name, connecting to printer... the web interface was also lacking.

accompanying documentation seems to have been written by someone who lost their ritalin! very poor & no important info... phone support not much better, reps just off the boat, w/ little or no product knowledge. they couln't explain why the printserver & printer continually locked -- when trying to do what it was designed to do... :( fortunately, i was able to return to store -- per advice of support rep -- while still able!

my printer still works when connected directly to pc -- so i'll continue to share on client machine, until i can find a DECENT piece of hardware... linksys, if you're listening: drop bi-admin & make the web interface better! also, test a few notable printers w/ this shit!
