"Great" The Nike/Phillips products are so easy to use and transfering files is so simple, even my boyfriend can do it and he has no idea when it comes to computers!
I would recommend this product, even though i have upgraded to the same mp3 player but with 256mb of memory. From Newtonheath1958, April 08, 2005
"Stop Bitchin" 1. It is two years old and was one of the first arm-band mp3 players
2. It is cheap
3. Spend 350 on an ipod if you want something better
4. I break everything and am technologically challenged yet have been unable to break it thus far, I did have a problem with the headphones after dropping them in a sink full of water - Nike replaced them within 2 weeks.
5. Don't be cheap and bitch From Bug, March 05, 2005
"HORRIBLE" DO NOT buy this product. It took me close to 3 weeks to even get music onto it, it doesn't work with music match, and if you do find a way to get the files onto it, they completly remove them from your computer. I've had it for about 6 months and its already broken!
DO NOT waste your money. From chess, February 03, 2005
"horrible" i bought one about 9 months ago. this mp3 player is horrible! i installed the cd for musicmatch and it took me forever to get it. i can't even get music on it because the computer can't reconize it. i tried to complain about it at the phillips website, but all they gave me was a instrucions manual.
dont buy From sam, January 31, 2005
"NO SUPPORT DONT BUY!!!SUCKS" This product has no drivers for windows 2000. when Tech support called me back from INDIA two days later He spoke hardly any english and the on line tech support did not have a clue... I consider myself computer savy so if you are not get a product from another company out there!!! From Tod Cole, January 11, 2005
"Didn't work and NO return" I bought one and it worked just fine. Then it was stolen at the gym. So I purchased a second psa 128. This one never worked. I worked with customer service for hours if you include wait time. And now that I sent it to the place that they told me to send it to, I have nothing. They never responded back. Or gave me any money. From Ian Van Gerpen, November 02, 2004
"This is poopy" Man, technology esp when it comes to putting on a pair of headphones to play some jams is suppose to work when you hit the play button, or in my case holding the play button for about 5 min to get it to cut on, and when it decides to cut on, if it gets bumped by anything it goes right back off again, so please recall these, or phillips will go out of business along with nike, cuz they make bad mp3 players that i bought, and cant take back, this is just wrong man..... From Darryl, November 02, 2004
"Sorry, but it's not worth it now" Why do those of you who had no problems think everybody else is nuts? Go look at the reveiws of any other MP3 player and you will not find this level of unhappiness. I bought the first ever model and LOVED it! Til it just stoped playing. Well, they sent me a new one. Cool. Then got a new PC and new verison of the PSA and could NOT get it see the player. My two friends who are programmers have had the same trouble and get it taken care of pretty easily, BUT they admit that it is in no way as trouble free as it should be for a novice user. "Its Good" I dont know what those idiots are on about up there but the nike psa is a very good mp3 I find it very easy to use. the good things bout it is the buttons and the nice look, the battry is good and lasts long its good that they give you a plug in charger cause other wise you would have to buy enoght batteries, ok im not wastin no more time. its good. "worth the trouble for active people but I wouldn't buy one now" I bought this 2 years ago and have been relatively satisfied. There are better products out there now, but 2 years ago it was unparalleled for trips to the gym, given the remote controls and ergonomic headphone, armband. It's sweatproof and durable. The biggest downside is truly the tech support (or lack thereof). Actually, I stumbled across this site when searching for tech support. The software upgrade that I had to do at the beginning of this year was a complete pain and had to try several times to get it to work. The device works ok now, but I lost the transfer cable and am sick of the same 36 songs by now. I have a new laptop with an IEEE 1394 port, so I'm trying to find out if I can just buy an IEEE 1394 cable (do they even exist) and transfer directly that way or if it has to go through USB. If anyone knows (or if you still have a transfer cable you're not using) let me know.

"i hate this" i've had this mp3 for 2 years, and everytime i try to delete and add new songs, ihave to download the whole stupid program and it is not compatible with windows xp and i can not find any driver or support, also musicmatch sucks with this, you need version 7.1, too bad most people have 9.0 and their website doesn't support the nike psa, bottom line, don't waste your money From melinda, August 26, 2004
"Great Player!" I don't quite understand what all the commotion is about this player. I bought it just 4 days ago and I have been using it alot ever since! No freezeups, nor anything else that others have described. The file transfer is just a little slow, but thats because the hardware of the MP3 player works on Usb 1.0, but with 128 MB thats not a problem. I really liked the player and I definately recommend the Nike-Philips products. The PSA Play is the old model however, so if you can, get your hands on the new one. www.nike-philips.com Cheers! "biggest waste of time and money" when i first got it, it would occasionally freeze up. after a couple of months only one side of the earphones would work unless the earphone plug was half way inserted, which greatly decreased the volume. while that continued on, the volume buttons stopped working all together. this mp3 player is the biggest waste of money ever. From Vanessa, July 20, 2004
"This is a POS!" This is my 3rd MP3 player and I like it alot, when it works. Trouble is, it plays 1 or 2 songs and then totally freezes. To get it working again (for another couple songs), you have to remove and insert the battery. I have only used this POS a couple of times. What a waste of my money! Don't waste yours. "great little gadget...works fine" pretty user friendly..i have a great time using it. never had any problems dragging and dropping soungs ...just wish it was bigger than 128mb storage. Has a neat little remote that comes in handy when jogging / walking. The original earbuds really suck but the other ear muff style phones are great From Michael, May 19, 2004
