"Great product, great price" I bought this product today, and I am very happy with it. Of course, I spent most of the afternoon converting my .m4a files from iTunes into .mp3 format (using a shareware utility) - so, if your music collection is in iTunes, you should carefully think about your choice of mp3 player.
But once I got my tracks into .mp3, I had no trouble running the software and transferring my tracks. I used the LP2 transfer quality, and I got 36 mp3's onto the included MD disk. I believe if I had used LP4 I would have been able to transfer twice that many, but I wasn't sure I wanted to sacrifice quality.
The player seems VERY durable (i've given it the drop test from a foot or two while listening to the tracks, and it didn't even skip) - and the display, while small, does scroll the title of the track once before playing it - so you can tab through your disk and quickly see the titles without having to listen to part of it.
