Verbatim Store n Go USB 2.0 Drive 512MB
Store n Go USB 2.0 Drive 512MB First Take
Store 'n Go USB 2.0 Drive is easily the fastest Hi-Speed USB flash drive out there with its 8MB/s read and 5MB/s write speeds while other drives lag behind by a few megabytes per second. If you go back to the original USB interface, everything goes back to 1MB/s. Anyway, beside its speedy transfer rate, the drive comes with generous lifetime warranty as well as partition software for securing your data, a lanyard and much needed extension cable. The Store 'n Go gets the speed crown for now until someone else catches up.

"No doubt - the BEST!"
This is the best product that I have seen in the market so far. The form factor is very small, convenient to hold and use, and the red LED through the casing is beautiful. Transfer speeds are excellent (tested at 8mb/5mb), and the Verbatim packaging includes a very nifty and useful extension cord, for free! The cord is useful for people with rear-loading USB ports - I think most of us probably still have these. Don't waste your time on the other models, the clunkers, etc. this one is definitely King!

"Beware of the lower line capacities"
The case is sturdy, the size is compact, and as a keychain it's looks like I have a mini-swiss army knife.

While the 512MB version may support 5MB/s write, this does not apply to the 256MB versions and lower. The write speed in this case is 1.5MB/s USB 2.0 maximum. However, even with an all-USB 2.0 motherboard, a 26MB file took 50 seconds to write.

"Great buy!"
I own a bunch of USB drives and thsi is definitely by far the best. Speeds are as promised, performs flawlessly, good design and convenient size. Buy it, you won't regret it. The only con, if you can call it that, is the price. After all, you only get what you pay for.

"This truly is a magnificent drive"
This is my 2nd Flash Storage Device. My first, I won't say who mfr's it, was lacking in certain areas. I bought the Verbatim because a) it's USB 2.0 and b) it attaches to a set of keys. The problem with my first drive was that it was too slow and the lid to the port itself was not secure at all. The Verbatim is extremely fast and the lid that attaches to your keys is secure. I swung my keys around for a minute or two in an extremely fast motion and the lid and the drive never separated. It's definitely the best on the market as of today. Buy it, you'll love it...
