Microphone Meets USB Flash Drive

  July 5th, 2006

WE RECOMMEND
If you conduct interviews for any reason or simply have a hard time recalling the myriad of little things you need to remind yourself to do over the day, the FlashMic may be a welcome product. Unlike using a mic with other digital voice recorders, the FlashMic requires no cable to the recorder, because it is the recorder.

The FlashMic has a built in 1GB flash recorder that allows you to record on-the-fly without cables running from the mic to the actual recording device. Once you record your interview or your honey-do list to the FlashMic, you transfer the voice files to your PC via USB. Power for the mic comes from a pair of AA batteries that have nearly 8 hours of usage. The device is also lightweight, coming in at a mere 366g without batteries.
