Rugged Portable HDD from I-O Data

  November 30th, 2006

DON'T MISS

Once you loose data to a flash drive or USB drive due to dropping it or getting it damp you want are compelled to start looking for a more robust device for your portable storage needs. I-O Data’s new HDMC is very rugged and able to withstand drops from about 48 inches and stay submerged in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1meter. The rubber looking strip around the outside of the drive houses the USB connector and it is available in 8GB and 12GB capacities. I-O Data's HDMC reminds me a lot of the 10GB Philips drive we covered a while back.
