WE RECOMMEND
Iomega has a new REV Loader 560 they are launching today. The 560 in the name comes from the storage capacity the loader has of 560GB uncompressed by using 70GB REV discs. The new REV 560 Loader doubles the capacity of the previous REV 280 GB Loader. If you use compression you can get 1.12TB of data storage. Connectivity is via USB 2.0 and the data transfer rate is up to 30MB/s. Data accuracy is ensured with two stage error correction for automatic data verification and correction. Despite the large storage capacity, the REV 560 measures in at a mere 7" tall and 5" wide. To complete the backup solution, Iomega includes a license for BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows that includes support for disaster recovery. Each REV disc has 70GB of storage space and a 5 year warranty, while the REV 560 loader has a three year warranty.
