When disconnected, the 1-line LCD kicks in, and becomes an office calculator. This is especially designed for 15" or smaller notebooks in which you won't any good built-in pad. Laptop gamers who are too familiar with controlling army units using the pad and accountants needing fast general ledger entries will appreciate this gadget.
