Build Your own Keyboard Key Flash Drive

  July 2nd, 2007

DON'T MISS

Most geeks probably have several keyboards lying around the house and several flash drives as well. With these two items and some free time, you can make yourself a unique flash drive from the guts of a stock flash drive and a couple oversized keys from your extra keyboard. A guy over at Hacker Zen made his using the backspace key and the enter key and from the looks of it, the entire project ended up quite interestingly. The guy used an old, black Dell keyboard and a Crucial Gizmo flash drive. The key top had to be filed down and the guts from the Gizmo were removed and crammed in. Seems like a lot of work to me, but if you have some spare time this might be a good project for you.
