Newsflash - the newest Keyspan USB Server goes both ways. The 4-port Print Server will allow printers to report errors and ink/toner levels back to each client on a network (provided that the full printer driver set is installed) thanks to true bi-directional communication.
The Keyspan 4-port USB Print Server is a USB 1.1 device for connecting up to 4 USB printers or multifunctions over a wired or wireless network - allowing for full-time sharing printing devices. Multifunction printer/scanner devices are supported as well. It supports static IP, DHCP, and Apple's Rendezvous. Client PCs must be running Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Mac OS X 10.3 or later. The suggested retail price is $99.More USB Hubs & Peripheral Sharing
