Keyspan is showing a new remote control that gives iPod and iTunes lovers a way to not only remotely control the volume and track, but to actually view your media titles as well when used with other accessories. The TuneView Remote, TuneView dock for controlling iPod and the TuneView USB adapter are being unveiled at CeBIT.
The remote uses 2-way RF connectivity to display detailed information from your iPod or iTunes on the built in LCD screen. The TuneView Dock for iPod is required for the remote to be able to control your iPod and will work with all 4G and 5G iPod's. To control iTunes stored on your Mac of PC, Keyspan has a product called TuneView USB adaptor. Also included with the USB adapter is the software to control the interface between the remote and your PC.
Both the remote and iPod dock are scheduled for May availability and the USB adapter is scheduled for summer availability. Pricing is set at $99 for the remote, $79 for the iPod dock and $39 for the iTunes remote.Filed under Remote Controls
