LightScribe's Free-for-all 'Quality Upgrade' in Software Download

LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling announced today that they have made software improvements that will allow for higher quality labels. The results are very noticeable when labels that include a photo are burned. You can see from the attached image that the improvement in label image quality it readily noticeable. The really good news is that this upgrade is available for all existing LightScribe burners for free. There are no new hardware or software purchases required to enjoy the improved labeling and the new label software works with all existing media. LightScribe says that a simple printed title will take a few minutes to burn with the new software, but larger disc images will take 15-20 minutes. If you own a LightScribe burner you can download the update for free.
