Logitech V550 Nano Mouse Clips to Your Notebook

Logitech makes arguably some of the best notebook mice on the planet, including the very good Logitech VX Nano Notebook Mouse that we reviewed before. The most notable feature of the VX Nano is the free-wheeling scroll wheel and the tiny nano transmitter. Today Logitech announces V550 that inherits the tiny nano transmitter and the free-wheeling scroll wheel.

The tiny nano transmitter is small enough to stay in the USB port you computer continuously, while only protruding 8 mm from the side of the computer. The V550 uses 2.4GHz wireless technology and will sell for $59.99 later this month. The newest feature here however is the ability for the mouse to click on the outside of a notebook via a clip-and-go dock. While the V550 was only introduced today, ExtremeTech has already posted a review of the mouse. Logitech isn't specific on the sensitivity of the mouse, but the reviewer says he would put it somewhere between 800 and 1000 dpi. The reviewer concluded V550 is a simple mouse with cool features that works well. Another pic after the jump.
