Logitech Quickcam Fusion Refines the Webcam

The new Logitech Quickcam Fusion has addressed many weaknesses of the average webcam in one swipe. Two new technologies are showcased - Logitech RightLight and RightSound. The former improves low light performance and the latter cancels unwanted echoes (in the built-in microphone) that can occur during video calls.

The Fusion is also a High Speed USB camera, which allows true 1.3 megapixel performance for snapshots and smooth video. The mounting system, although optimized for LCD monitors, brings the camera down to eye level so that you won't have anyone call attention to your bald spot. I always hated that. Choose 3D animated avatars that imitate your facial expressions and head movements, or 2D face accessories that allow you to change your look with glasses, hats and more.
