Have you ever considered how you would get your thumbdrive back if you lost it? For most flash drive users it’s probably not he drive you worry about, but the data on the drive. Over at Daily Cup of Tech there is a how to that will walk you through creating your own auto executing message asking that the lost drive be returned to you. Sure lots of folks won’t look at the note for various reasons, but your chances of getting your drive back are infinitely better if you include a note such as this for the person who finds your drive. Then again, the person who finds your drive could be a serial killer and you are offering your address up to him, or even worse a vacuum cleaner salesman.
