Macally has stealthy upgraded its SyncBox - a USB OTG storage bridge that copies and transfers data between two USB devices without a PC. The new SyncBox II now has added a few more buttons; a LCD menu; and the capability to selectively transfer files.
On the contrary, its predecessor can only do blind duplication of one USB storage to another. This is a handy gadget if you need to transfer individual files from a flash drive to another; and from a digital camera to a USB hard drive. The $49 SyncBox II tops at 810KB/s, and gets its juice from 3 AAA batteries.Filed under USB Bridges
