Free Shipping Not Helping $412 MS' Trackball

Free Shipping Not Helping $412 MS' Trackball

Amazon seems to be getting into the pricey antique business with this listing for the only marginally appreciated Microsoft trackball. We're guessing that Amazon's amazing price mistake monitoring has sampled some bad peanut butter and is on the fritz. Anyway you break this down its a pretty bad deal. $412 per shiny red ball. $206 per programmable button. $85 per button. $137 per foot of USB cord. New fangled OPTICAL sensor, Priceless.

As nice as it is to watch people struggle to try and use your trackball that are accustomed to a mouse, we'd rather have an eee-PC than an expensive giggle. Maybe this is from an old price list for the US military from the 1980's. It's the perfect companion for the $900 hammer. Maybe get approval from your boss for a new trackball and then send them this link and hope they don't send you a link to current unemployment figures right back. The rest of us may want to check out MS' current top-of-line Arc mouse or this Kensington SlimBlade trackball, either of which will save you hundreds of dollars.
