MoGo USB 'Port' Boosts Wireless Signal On The Go

  January 11th, 2008

If you are like me then you know exactly how frustrating it is to have a cell phone at home and never have any sort of quality signal. In fact you almost jump for joy when you have two bars instead of one as it seems like a milestone for your phone. While there are antennae and amplifiers currently available on the market to help boost the signal for you, they can easily cost several hundreds of dollars. MoGo Wireless has risen to the challenge to fill the void of cost effective personal cellular enhancement with two new products, the MoGo Port and MoGo Stix.

Each product is essentially the same, providing a 50dB system gain and increasing available cellular coverage by up to 200%. Where the products differ is how they are powered. While the Stix is power with a 12V auto adapter (and can be powered in home with an additional 120V conversion adapter), the Port is powered by USB meaning that you can take it with you on the go. MoGo expects to make these products available later this year and they should retail for about $150.
